Martin Hovden is editor of The Southport Champion and writes and compiles a Live Sounds page in the paper each week. The page offers support and encouragement to local bands and singers.

His Live Sounds Live show on SCR every Wednesday from 6pm to 10pm featured interviews with local bands, venue owners plus live performances.
